December 2009 Earnings Report
The New Year is here and I have earnings to report for the last month of 2009. I added one new income source this past month (December 2009) and that is FireHow. It’s a site very similar to Ehow. I contributed just 2 articles about mid-month and they generated a few pennies. Not bad for getting only 11 views between the two so far though. The articles haven’t been promoted at all yet either. I may start adding content to FH occasionally. If I do, it won’t be very much to begin with because I have an EzineArticles challenge ahead of me for this month.
For Suite101 I didn’t contribute any new articles. Shame. on. me. I added a few to Infobarrel too and I’m now preapproved to write there. I currently have 14 articles published there and earnings have been far less than stellar. I haven’t even received impressions on IB articles for a week or two. Not sure what the deal is but I hope things pick up there. For Ehow, I actually ended up adding 2 new articles. I don’t really remember doing it, but they’re there! And now on to the earnings…
Here’s the breakdown:
**Numbers in parenthesis are to show the difference in earnings from the previous month
- Ehow: $169.41 (+ $8.86)
- Adsense: $51.43 (+ $9.79)
- Text Link Ads: 10.41 (+ $6.20)
- Suite101: $13.21 (+ $0.64)
- FireHow: $0.05
- Advertising Sold: $36.00
GRAND TOTAL: 280.51 (+ $61.54)
Again, this income was all passive with the exception of adding 2 new Ehow articles that have started generating some money. I basically increased my passive income by $61.54 this month and the only writing I did for pay were those 2 articles. Otherwise I basically concentrated on Xomba during the month of December. I will be reporting my statistics from that in a couple days so watch for it if you’re interested in making money with Xomba.
