It’s been way too long since I’ve posted anything here. I’ve been really busy writing for DS to get some up front money, as well as building up my article bases on Suite and Ehow, plus I’ve been building niche sites. I’ve learned quite a bit in the past few months and I’ve decided to try some other things to increase my income streams.

I’ve decided to take the plunge and create at least 30 hubs in 30 days. I have been himmin and hawwin about trying Hubpages and I’ve finally decided to give it a go. I have seen mixed results from reading other people who have done similar experiences but I’m willing to give it a try to see what I can accomplish.

I get the gist of keyword research and SEO and I’ve learned a lot about competing web pages and whether or not to try and go up against them. I will be utilizing all of that in the creation of all 30 hubs. I think to be successful with Hubpages, you really need to choose topics/keywords that haven’t been touched yet. Google is only going to include a few of the same keyword targeted articles from one website so it doesn’t do any good to create a hub about a keyword that’s already the main focus of hundreds of hubs.

I plan to post weekly updates to post progress details including any promotion I’ve done, along with visitors and any revenue that is created. I will show images of my account as proof. At the end of the challenge, I will post how I find my keywords and how I decide whether or not to create a hub using a keyword.

For me, this is just a personal challenge. I enjoy reading about personal challenges and I think posting weekly updates on my blog will keep me focused. I will have the first update on my Hubpages experiment next Wednesday (10/7).
